Chinese Miser Dream M241-1895, NOW $129.00 |
Manufactured by Henry Evans
Part 1: The magician shows two chinese coins
(regular size) and says that in China "less is
more". He puts one of the coins in his pocket,
clearly leaving only one coin in his hand; but when
he asks how many coins are left and spectators
answer "one", he opens it and there are three coins!
He repeats the action, putting one of the three coins
in the pocket, leaving two in his hands but when
spectators say "two" he can show there are now four
coins! Very visual effect. In the end the four coins
can be examined.
Part 2: The magician shows two jokers, both sides,
and his hands completely empty. The two cards are
put together face to face and a jumbo chinese coin
appears from in between them. This is repeated three
times causing three more jumbo coins to appear from
nowhere, always showing the cards both sides and the
hands empty. All four coins can be shown both sides.
The clear conditions in which this effect takes
place makes it a miracle.

*Coin Wand M171-1949, NOW $350.00 |
Manufactured by Johnson Products
RARE!
I love coin wands, have collected them for years,
probably have collected 30-40
different new and antique wands. The Johnson coin
wand was made back in the
late 70's-early 80's timeframe, and it is the Rolls
Royce of coin wands, no one else
has ever come close to that quality. Porper's wands
are good, but still do not match
the Johnson one that has not been made for about 30
years.
Your other hand does not have to cover or aid the
coin when it vanishes from the
tip of the wand, it also comes with a brass plug,
that allows the wand to be shown
clearly, from either end/tip as a normal wand.
The sliding pin has the proper angle as found on the
old time wands and the coin is
not a folding coin, but a specially gimmicked one
that is correctly soldered in place.
The coin is a 1969 Kennedy Half.
13" in length, includes original velvet carry bag.
Condition is MINT. Operation is very smooth coming
out and going in.
This wand was most likely made by Mike Caveney years
ago during his time at
Johnson.

Hop-Along Kennedy M231-1906, NOW $10.00 |
Manufactured by Astra Magic (circa 1977)
No Longer Manufactured
Four Giant Coins are covered with Four Giant cards.
The coins move one by one and assemble under one
card right before the Spectators Eyes.
So in other words it is a Jumbo coin Matrix, coins
are lite weight and 3 inches diameter and 3/16
inches thick. I have never done "coin matrix" always
wanted to do, but I gotta think, the fact that these
are so light, is the only way you could accomplish
it??? I put the stack of 4 coins on my
non-electronic postal scale, and it barely moves the
needle, so all 4 coins weigh less then 2 ounces
total. They are all 1964 Kennedy halves.

Penny-Tration - Mini Penetration M111-1721 $ 25.00
|
|
British Made possibly Supreme
Even though this is call “Penny-tration” it is not for US penny, no it is for
the size of a coin like an English Penny or American half dollar.
A small wooden box containing a piece of glass. The lid and the box bottom
have a slot cut in the central position.
Effect: The small box is shown and the lid is removed. Inside is a square piece
of glass which is removed and passed out for examination. When the glass is
returned it is put back into the box and the lid is replaced. A coin is
borrowed or brought out. In full view the coin is placed into the slot cut in
the lid. Slowly it sinks through the glass and falls out of the bottom of the
box. The box lid is removed to show the glass is still in position.
Though this works in similar concept as Coin of Realm, it’s mechanics are
completely different

*Pen-Thru-Bill M124-1583
NOW $ 20.00 |
|
By Magic Al the Bartender
EFFECT: Magician borrows a dollar bill, and
Penetrates it with pen.
OKAY, I did not make these, and I know this is a
blatant ripoff, but there are a bunch of them, so what am I to do.
Now for the technicalities of this, like the
original Cornelius Pen thru Bill, it comes with two pens, one regular and one
gimmicked pen. It is a different style of pen, it is more like a Bic pen. The
gimmick is stronger than the original Cornelius Pen, so in my opinion even
though it is a ripoff, it is a vast improvement. How many of you bought the
original, only to have the (hard) plastic pen crack, and thus become unusable,
this pen is soft rubber plastic type material, so it will last a long time.
Now, Cornelius’ Perfect Pen is still my
favorite, but maybe cost prohibitive for some folks.

*Pen-Thru-Bill on a Red Eye
Flight M124-1584 NOW
$29.00
|
|
By Magic Al the Bartender
Okay this is a different effect, and uses the
better pens.
EFFECT: (Magician borrows two one dollar bills)
“I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU A TALE ABOUT GEORGE.
(puts one bill in shirt pocket) "OLD GEORGE WAS QUITE A GUY (displays single
dollar bill) HE WOULD NEVER TELL A LIE (displays other side of bill) WELL ONCE
UPON TIME HE WAS TOLD TO TELL A LIE (lays bill in left hand)
AND HE WOULD NOT COMPLY AND HE ENDED UP WITH A
NASTY BLACK EYE (Draws a black eye on George)
NOW OLD GEORGE COULD TAKE A PUNCH ( Punches pen
thru George's eye) AND BELIEVED YOU ONLY REALLY LOSE (displays pen thru bill} IF
YOU LEAVE WITH MORE THAN A BRUISE (Pulls pen all the way thru bill only leaving
a black eye bruise, and hands bill out to be examined)
NOW OLD GEORGE HAD TO CATCH A FLIGHT THAT NIGHT
SO HE CALLED HIS WIFE (brings other bill out of shirt pocket} AND SAID "DEAR,
YOU BETTER SCHEDULE A RED EYE FLIGHT TONIGHT AS I WAS IN A FIGHT (lays bill in
hand)
( Draws red eye on bill with same Pen!) AND I
DON'T LOOK RIGHT TONIGHT" (points to bill with black eye) SO GEORGE AND HIS WIFE
BOARDED THE PLANE AND BUCKLED UP TIGHT
(puts two Bills together and folds around PEN)
AS THE PLANE TOOK OFF INTO THE NIGHT. ( Pen penetrates thru both bills.) WHEN
THEY LANDED (displays pen thru two bills) THEY COULD SEE THE PRESS OUT THERE
STANDIN SO THEY RUSHED OUT THE BACK (Pen rushes all the way thru the two bills.)
AND 0' BOY WAS THE PRESS MAD ABOUT THAT (Everything handed out for examination)

SCARCE!
condition MINT, I have quite a few of these, came
from a Magic Shop inventory, that
closed more than a dozen years ago. They are still
wrapped in the white paper that
Bill wrapped them in, when he mfrd, them.
Effect: Two polished walnut "tunnels" are shown
which lock together making a continuous tunnel. They
are now separated and a card is placed in position
between them preventing any item from passing
through the tunnel. Four coins (quarters) are
shown and as they are dropped into the tunnel, one
apparently penetrates the card and drops to table.
Each coin in turn penetrates the card until all have
completed penetration.
