Norm Barnhart

Norm Barnhart first picked up a magic wand when he was five years old.  He read every book he could find on the subject. “I discovered that I could make people laugh with my magic tricks.” 

Mr. Norm has entertained at banquets, company parties, fairs, festivals and even the Paul Bunyan Amusement Park for 10 years and Knott’s Camp Snoopy over a dozen times.  He’s appeared two years at the Minnesota State Fair. 

Mr. Norm has presented his original fun and motivational reading magic show in schools in all fifty states to get kids excited about reading.  “Reading is so important to happiness and success in life, so I do all I can to encourage young readers.”

Along with performing he also teaches other magicians his inventions and comedy techniques.  In

“I discovered that magic brings joy and smiles to everyone.” After college, Mr. Norm became a full time professional magician doing around 300-375 shows per year. Since then Magic has taken Mr. Norm across the US and to 5 other countries - Canada, Mexico, Haiti, China, and Japan.

Last year Norm wrote 4 magic books for Capstone Press.  Mr. Norm says, “I love to see my friend’s faces light up when I present a cool trick. You’ll have fun doing magic too!” The tricks in the four Amazing Magic Tricks books are easy to learn and have fun stories to tell with them.

          Mr. Norm won first place in America’s Funniest Magician Contest in Las Vegas in 2007.  He also won the 1^st Place - People’s Choice Award at the World Clown Association Convention in Alaska.  He teaches other magicians his original magic tricks, inventions and comedy techniques at conventions of magicians and entertainers.  For more info check out www.MagicNorm.com

Jeff Russ

AKA Mr Magic is from Louisville, KY. where he performs over 600 shows a year. He loves performing for children and in 2008 he won THE BEST OF LOUISVILLE AWARD for CHILDRENS ENTERTAINERS. Over 70% of his business is working in the Daycare and Preschool market. He calls it his Bread and Butter. Jeff also won Best Birthday Party Magician in 2005, 2006 and 2007 as voted on by the readers of the Kentuckiana Family Magazine. In addition to his daycare performances he also performs at over 120 Birthday Parties a year and many corporate events. Some of his clients include Historic Churchill Downs, Ford Motor Company, Thomas The Train, General Electric, UPS and just about every Country Club in his area.

Penne Peterson

Penne Peterson Sewall has been involved in multiple facets of Clown
Ministry for over 25 years.  In addition to clowning in nursing homes,
hospitals, group homes, Senior Citizen centers, prisons, schools, farm
labor camps and the inner city, she has performed for gatherings large
(37,000) and small in all denominations.  She has been on staff for major
training events nationally and internationally.  Major newspapers as well
as radio talk shows (challenging for a mime clown) and television have also
carried Penne's message of Clown Ministry.  Penne is a published author of
CLOWN MINISTRY and TAG, YOU'RE IT!  Her third book, CLOWNING WITH A GENTLE
HEART is pending.  Penne and her colleagues, Rev. Herb Brokering and Rev.
Dick Hardel, have led clown pilgrimages through eastern Europe where
training of clown ministry continues to grow.   Clowning is one aspect of
Penne's company, "Creative Ministries" which also includes sacred dance,
mime, puppetry, creative dramatics and storytelling. 

Brad Roberts

B-Rad is the top family entertainer in Las Vegas and an award winning
entertainer.

He was awarded the following...
Nickelodeon's Parents' pick Award for Las Vegas Best Party Entertainer
in 2009.
2009 Winner of American's Funniest Magician sponsored by Conley House
of Magic.
2010 Winner of American Clown Idol in Las Vegas.

He has produced and stars in “The Super Duper Show” that is Las Vegas’
first children’s show on the Las Vegas strip. The Las Vegas Super Duper
Show was voted one of the top 10 Vegas family attractions by Parents
Guide of Las Vegas Magazine in 2009.


Besides being a family entertainer he owns and operates LinkLv.com. He
provides graphic design, website hosting, and web promotions for
hundreds of business and entertainers world wide. His knowledge in this
has been priceless for his entertainment business and loves to share
his secrets.

Educational Table Sessions

Each day participants will visit each learning station for hands on practice with comedy magic skills. Each station will feature an instructor that will teach their favorite close up or parlor routines. You will learn at least 6 new entertaining routines to share with clients and friends!

At FEW we take your convention investment seriously.   We include resource notebook for all 2 day registrants.
